Kae Montgomery
Professional tribal belly dancer living in San Francisco, USA.
Kae trained mostly on her own since seeing belly dance for the first time in 2000, but in 2005
she studied with Rachel Brice, and a few months later with Kristine, a member of Fat Chance.
After a fateful encounter, she moved to the United States in 2007 to train in belly dancing.
She learned directly from the pioneer and founder of Fat Chance Bellydance, Carolina Nericchio.
In just two years, she became the first Japanese professional dancer of Fat Chance Belly Dance® led by Carolina.
She continued to work as a principal dancer and instructor for seven years.
In addition, in 2013 Kae joined Gold Star Dance, led by belly dance superstars Kami Liddle.
She has also started working as a principal dancer for the company, and has performed not only in the United States but also in England, Italy, Spain, France, Finland, Poland, Germany, Russia, Ukraine, China. Kae has been invited to more than 16 countries, including Argentina and Chile, to share her performance activities and Kae continues to teach her workshops. In Japan, many tribal dancers are active under Kae's guidance.
